DR. TERRI SIMPKIN
Dr Terri Simpkin, is a forward-thinking academic, consultant, public speaker, and educator, motivated by an insatiable desire to unlock the potential of individuals and organizations. Specializing in driving change and frustrated by the slow pace of inclusion practices, Terri has developed professional development programs, namely Braver Stronger Smarter & Faking It, based on her extensive research into the impostor phenomenon spanning over forty years. These initiatives target workplace, leadership, and personal challenges associated with the impostor experience, emphasizing inclusion and minimizing implicit bias in organizational and social structures.
Terri, formerly the Higher and Further Education Principal at CNet Training and co-author of the world’s first and only Master’s Degree in Data Centre Leadership and Management, is a visionary academic and consultant with diverse expertise, particularly in the digital infrastructure sector. Her extensive list of credentials includes being a Churchill Fellow, CPHR, MCIPD, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (RSA).
With a wealth of experience, Dr Terri Simpkin has consulted for industry associations, large corporations, and SMEs, offering insights to government agencies on skills, labor, and training strategies. As a thought leader for Portman Partners, she contributes valuable perspectives on leadership, workforce change, and inclusion & belonging.
Terri’s role as an educator spans vocational education, the university sector, and executive education.
